ORDERING

You are deemed to have placed an order having completed the online checkout process. As part of the checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. An order acknowledgement will then be sent to you, detailing the products you have ordered. Acceptance of an order occurs once the order has been dispatched and a dispatch confirmation has been sent by email. The purchase contract is made once the order has been dispatched. The contract is not finalised if you receive notification that the order has not been accepted or if the order has been cancelled.

An order may be refused when: Goods are unavailable, authorisation cannot be obtained for your payment, there has been a pricing or product description error or any of the eligibility criteria as set out in our terms and conditions have not been met.

RETURNS & CANCELLATION POLICY

In addition to your statutory rights, a refund or exchange is offered on any items returned unused and in a saleable condition within 14 days of receipt.

Policy details are as follows;

If you wish to cancel your order, where the goods have yet to be dispatched, then you must contact us immediately.

You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt, for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods shall be borne by you. Goods will only be accepted for refund or exchange within 14 days strictly provided they have not been used or worn and are in a saleable condition, retaining original packaging and condition. A full refund of the amount paid via the same payment method, or an exchange will be given at this stage.

You have a duty of care during the period of cancellation to ensure that the goods are returned to us in the condition in which they were delivered. We reserve the right to charge for any damages caused by failure to carry out your duty of care.

If your order has been charged for but is not delivered according to our standard delivery policy. We may ask you to wait up to 10 working days before we send out your order again.

PRICING

All prices on our public website include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. Where GIBSON & BIRKBECK LTD charge separately for packaging, postage and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in the pricing structure shown on the website. GIBSON & BIRKBECK LTD reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
